We've put the Optus modem in a high location and added a $99 Netgear WiFi extender in a high location at 10-15 foot away. Typically get about 15-20 that way. Note: Maximum WiFI speed, no matter what, seems to be 30. Regardless I recommend Fetch Mighty / Pay TV be hard wired to Optus modem router port. Micro dropouts is an issue.

SAGEMCOM FAST 3864OP is a firmware locked ADSL router modem by Optus. Its now August, Internet is still not connected, I have to call optus to hear lies and excuses. They continue to send sms and emails saying "your Internet is connects, please activate within 28 days". Worst customer service and complete rhetorical bs. I have optus sim-only plan and the data has not once been refreshed by them.
